Install PPStream on 64-bit Ubuntu

64-bit Ubuntu 10.10 is successfully installed.

Install the two software required (ppstream_1.0.0-3lucid2_amd64.deb, getlibs-all.deb) I have uploaded

Install the 32-bit Ubuntu package directly on the official website.

 

The 64-bit Ubuntu installation method is as follows:

 

Install the PPS dependent Library

 

 

Sudo apt-Get install libqt4-core libqt4-dbus libqt4-gui libqt4-network libqt4-webkit libfuse2 mplayer

Download and install the 64-bit PPS installation package

 

PPS is finally installed in the/opt/PPS directory. The address is:

Https://launchpad.net /~ CNAV/+ archive/PPA/+ files/ppstream_1.0.0-3lucid2_amd64.deb

(Note: ppstream_1.0.0-3_amd64.deb this package is not available)

When running PPS directly, an error is reported:

 

Sjw_new @ sjw-New:/opt/PPS/bin $./PPStream

./PPStream: Error while loading shared libraries: libqtwebkit. so.4: wrong Elf class: elfclass64

Download getlib

 

The software can automatically download the 32-bit lib missing from the program. The address is (if the program is damaged, the agent must be mounted ):

Http://frozenfox.freehostia.com/cappy/getlibs-all.deb

 

Start conversion with getlibs & add the required 32bit lib

 

Enter:

 

Sjw_new @ sjw-New:/opt/PPS/bin $ getlibs./PPStream

Libqtwebkit. so.4: libqtwebkit4

The following i386 packages will be installed:

Libqtwebkit4

[Sudo] password for sjw_new:

Libfuse. so.2: libfuse2

Set Environment Variables

 

Add the following to home/. Profile:

 

Export LD_LIBRARY_PATH =/opt/PPS/lib: $ LD_LIBRARY_PATH

Run PPS

 

Input/opt/PPS/bin/PPStream in the terminal to find that there is no sound set PPS tool-Option-sound set from OSS to ALSA and there will be sound
