Install SimSun fonts under Linux __linux

Under Windows, under the Fonts folder, copy the SIMSUN.TTC file
Under the/usr/local/share/fonts/simsun folder
Then executing ttmkfdir under this folder will generate a Fonts.scale file
Then in the font configuration file/etc/fonts/fonts.conf
The directory where the SimSun font is added to
/usr/local/share/fonts (note Do not add SimSun directory)

The following configuration files are added:

<dir>/usr/local/share/fonts</dir>
<dir>/usr/share/fonts</dir>
<dir>/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1</dir> <dir>/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/OTF</dir>
<dir>~/.fonts</dir>

Finally reboot the XFS server
Service XFS Reload

Ok. You can now set the font to SimSun, and you may want to restart X.
