Install Ubuntu 14.04 and some common software on a real machine (3)

On the basis of the above, I recently used Ubuntu to access the Internet to watch videos and use the PHP code abbreviated to brackets. However, I like to test some new software. I have installed several software recently. Record it here.

First, desktop beautification software-Docky and Cairo-dock

It is easy to install. Docky can be installed directly in the Software Center.

After the installation is complete, add the software as follows:

1. Open the software to be added

2. You can see the icon on the Docky panel, right-click the icon, and a command is locked on Docky.

Cairo-dock: for installation, find the PPA source before installing it. The command is as follows:

Add the PPA:$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:cairo-dock-team/ppaUpdate the repos:$ sudo apt-get updateInstall Cairo-Dock:$ sudo apt-get install cairo-dock cairo-dock-plug-ins

2. screen recording software --- vokoscreen

According to recent news, vokoscreen has been added to the Ubuntu 14.04 software source. Users who use Ubuntu 14.04/Linux mint 17 can search and install it directly in the Software Center (software manager )..

For Ubuntu 12.04-13.10 users, use the following PPA for installation:
