Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 installation

preparation
install Windows 2003
install the IIS component, Asp.. NET Component
and ensure that the following services are installed
World Wide Web Service
SMTP service
public files
and that the following services are not installed
Frontpage extensions
Active Directory support
we recommend that you install the Active Directory or add the server to the domain, use the domain administrator identity to log on to the server
database support
sqlserver2000 is recommended to be installed
in Enterprise Manager/security/login/

assign sufficient permissions to the security account of sqlserver
for example: system Administrators, security administrators, database creators
installation and configuration
install Windows SharePoint Services 2.0
the installation type is server farm "( the background database is sqlserver2000)
Create an application Program pool
"Configure account ": use the domain administrator account added to the database (in the domain name \ USERNAME format)
iisreset
Add the database server in the database configuration and the name of the database to be created
after completing the preceding steps, Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 is completed.
