Install Thunderbird 24.4.0 for Ubuntu users and derivative versions

Thunderbird is a popular open-source email client, which has been released at 24.4.0. This version is a security fix version. For more information, see the release notes.

Thunderbird 24.4.0 installation command (Ubuntu 12.04, 12.10, 13.10, 14.04, Linux Mint 16, Linux Mint 14, Linux Mint 13, Elementary OS 0.2)

Open the terminal and enter the following command:

Echo-e "ndeb http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/ubuntuzilla/mozilla/apt all main" | sudo tee-a/etc/apt/sources. list>/dev/null

Sudo apt-key adv -- recv-keys -- keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com C1289A29

Sudo apt-get update

Sudo apt-get install thunderbird-mozilla-build
