Install Krita 3.0 RC1 in Ubuntu
Krita 3.0 RC1 has been released and downloaded. This is the first version of Krita candidate edition. It includes an animation production tool, instant preview, and QT5 support! The candidates released today provide many amendments and improvements over the beta version. The biggest new feature is animation support.

Install Krita 16.04 RC1 in Ubuntu 3.0 and its derivative versions

Right-click the file and click Properties. Click the permissions tab, check the execution, and select the files that can be used as program execution files.
Then run the file because it does not require any installation.
