There are two ways of doing this:
- Direct selection of pre-packaged library software, such as Winpython, Python (x, y), Enthought Canopy, or Continuum Anaconda. Matplotlib and other common libraries are already included in these software. Anaconda is recommended here.
- The standard Python version basically installs the Matplotlib library itself, which is more troublesome. Can be divided into two ways:
- Download the Resource Pack matplotlib-1.5.3.tar.gz (MD5, PGP), installed with the Python setup.py install command. The installation method can refer to the installation pip. This approach can sometimes cause failures due to the need for other libraries;
- Download the WHL file,
pip install filename.whl
install with the command, FILENAME.WHL refers to the corresponding version and the platform WHL file name, see the reference article. Take the Python3.5 version as an example to download MATPLOTLIB-1.5.3-CP35-CP35M-WIN32.WHL (MD5). This is recommended because the required installation packages can be automatically detected and downloaded.
