Install MySQL in windows and MySQL in windows
1) double-click the MySQL Installation File mysql-essential-5.0.82-win32.msi to enter the welcome page. Click Next To Go To The installation type page.
2) on the installation type page, the first is the typical installation, and the second is the full installation. The installation paths cannot be changed. The default value is C: \ Program Files \ MySQL Server 5.0 \ (the C disk is the system disk ). Item 3 Custom allows you to customize the installation components and installation path. Select the second item. Set 1 on the installation type page.

3) Click Next To Go To The preparation and installation page. The installation type and path selected by the user are displayed. If the preceding options are incorrect, click Back to return to the previous page and select again. If yes, click Install to start the installation. 2.

5) after the file is installed, some MySQL functions and versions will be introduced. 4.

6) after you click finish, click next To go to the MySQL server configuration page, as shown in Figure 5.

7) the page has two options: detailed configuration (default) and standard configuration. Select the default item, as shown in Figure 5. Click Next To go to the server running mode page, as shown in figure 6.

8) There are three options on the server running mode page. You can select the first default item here (that is, the development mode, MySQL Server occupies the minimum memory space. It is sufficient for local testing ). Click Next To Go To The select Database Type page.
9) There are two types of Database options on this page. The first option is the data system that supports multiple types of databases such as MyISAM and InnoDB, and the second option is that only one type of database is supported. Select the first default item: Multifunctional Database. multiple types of databases are supported. Set 7. Click Next to go to the Next page.

10) on this page, select the path for the InnoDB data file. Here, select the MySQL Datafiles directory under drive C. When selecting a partition, pay attention to the remaining space of the selected partition. Page 8 is displayed. Click Next to go to the Next page.

11) Click Next to complete the installation. On the installation completion page, select the "Configure the MySQL Server now" check box to start configuring the MySQL Server, as shown in figure 9.

12) set the port of the MySQL server on this page. The default value is 3306. Click Next to go to the Next page. 10.

13) Select the default Character Set of MySQL. Select the GB2312 encoding type. Click Next to go to the Next page. 11.

14) Select whether the MySQL server runs automatically. If you want to add the MySQL execution path to the Windows environment variable PATH, you need to check the "Include Bin Directory in Windows path" option. Page settings 12. Click Next To Go To The permission settings page.

15) on this page, you can set the user logon password (the user name is root and the password is 123, so we recommend that you set the same password to facilitate the running of this instance ), there is a line of text below the password, asking whether the root user is allowed to log on to the database remotely. 16) Click the Next button to view the preparation page. If the configuration is correct, click Execute to start the operation, as shown in figure 14.

17) Click Finish to complete the installation of the MySQL server.
(5) Start the MySQL database
1) after installing MySQL, you can use it. When using this function, start it in the "Start" menu. Select the "All Programs"/"MySQL"/"MySQL Server 5.0"/"MySQL Command Line Client" menu Command, as shown in Figure 15.

2) You can start the MySQL command line client. The "Enter Password:" message is displayed, prompting the user to Enter the logon Password. Enter the Password "123" here, and press the Enter key. The information shown in Figure 16 is displayed.
