Installing some software on CentOS is really hard, like ... FileZilla. After the arduous work, found that still find ways to use Yum outfit is the right path.

My CentOS version is 6.4, first update rpmforge:

1 sudo rpm-uhv http://fedora. mirrors.pair.com/epel/6/i386/epel-release-6-8. noarch.rpm

Then install with Yum:

1 sudo yum install FileZilla

In the meantime, two dependent packages will be installed at the same time, and you can run them successfully by typing FileZilla or Gnome shortcuts on the command line.
