Install Oracle 11gR2 in CentOS 6.6
Install Oracle 11gR2 in CentOS 6.6
I. Hardware requirements
1) The minimum memory size is 1 GB, preferably 2 GB or more. The memory here is 10 GB.
2) The official suggestions for swap partition size are as follows.
Memory size |
Swap partition size |
1 GB-2 GB |
1.5 times memory size |
2 GB-16 GB |
Equal to memory size |
Larger than 16 GB |
16 GB |
3) shared memory shm minimum 1 GB.
4)./tmp is currently at least 1 GB.
Ii. software requirements
The following software package needs to be installed in CentOS 6. x. My system is CentOS6.6 x64 to minimize the installation of the system.
# Yum install-y binutils compat-libcap1 compat-libstdc ++-33 gcc-c ++ glibc-devel ksh libgcc libstdc ++-devel libaio-devel make sysstat
Iii. Environment Configuration
1. Create related users and groups as owners of software installation and support groups.
Groupadd dba; groupadd oinstall; useradd-g oinstall-G dba-m oracle
Passwd oracle
2. Configure Kernel Parameters
Modify the/etc/sysctl. conf file and add the following content at the bottom.
Cat>/etc/sysctl. conf <EOF
Fs. aio-max-nr = 1048576
Fs. file-max = 6815744
Kernel. shmmni = 4096
Kernel. sem = 250 32000 100 128
Net. ipv4.ip _ local_port_range = 9000 65500
Net. core. rmem_default = 262144
Net. core. rmem_max = 4194304
Net. core. wmem_default = 262144
Net. core. wmem_max = 1048576
EOF
# Sysctl-p
3. modify oracle user resource limits
Modify/etc/security/limits. conf and add the following content to the file.
Cat>/etc/security/limits. conf <EOF
Oracle soft nproc 2047
Hard nproc 16384
Oracle soft nofile 1024
Oracle hard nofile 65536
Oracle soft stack 10240
Oracle hard stack 32768
EOF
4. Create a requirement directory
Mkdir-p/u01/oracle
Chown-R oracle: oinstall/u01/
Chmod-R 775/u01/
5. Configure oracle user environment variables
First, switch to the newly created oracle. Enter su-oracle,
Edit the. bash_profile under the Home Directory and add the following content:
Export ORACLE_BASE =/u01/oracle
Export ORACLE_HOME = $ ORACLE_BASE/11g
Export ORACLE_SID = orcl
Export PATH = $ PATH: $ ORACLE_HOME/bin
Note: You can configure the system parameters with one click by installing the oracle software package. For details, see the appendix.
Iv. Database Software Installation
1. First install the Desktop System
Yum install xorg-x11-xauth-y
2. decompress the Installation File
Unzip linux.x64_11gR2_database_1of2.zip
Unzip linux.x64_11gr2_database5of2.zip
Decompress the downloaded software package to/u01/. After the package is decompressed, there will be a database directory where the installation program is executed. Generally, we perform remote installation, so how can we push the installation interface to our office? You can use vnc or Xmanager to execute the installation program using oracle. Remember to switch to oracle, I am using the Xmanager tool for Remote Installation.
3. Start the installer
If you need to install it silently, you can view the content of related modules.
Cd/u01/database
./RunInstaller
We can see that two software packages are not installed. Let's install them here.
# Yum install elfutils-libelf-devel
Check out, in the software Warehouse does not have this pdksh-5.2.14, I search and download on the Internet, you can search on this site, refer.
v. database installation
Execute dbca under the oracle user to bring up the database creation interface. If you want to install it silently, you can view my Blog content.
After the database is installed, the local machine can perform the SQL contact test. If you want to connect remotely, you need to create a listener.
6. Create a listener
In the oracle user environment, enter the command netca to bring up the graphical interface for configuration. You can also use the command to perform Silent Installation.
Appendix
If you feel that it is difficult to set kernel parameters, open file restrictions, install software packages, and so on, you can create an oracle yum source for installation without manual setup.
First, we need to create an oracle yum source and create oracle. repo under the/etc/yum. repo. d/directory. The content is as follows:
[Oracle_base]
Name = OL6-Base
Base url = http://public-yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL6/6/base/x86_64/
Gpgcheck = 0
Enabled = 1
[Kernel-uek]
Name = kernel-uek
Base url = http://public-yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL6/UEK/latest/x86_64/
Gpgcheck = 0
Enabled = 1
Installation Package yum install oracle-rdbms-server-11gR2-preinstall
After the installation is complete, some parameters are configured. You only need to set a password for the oracle user to install the database.
Download the pdksh package:
