Install Oracle11g + PL/SQL and win8oracle11g in Win8 (64)

Recently, Oracle11g is required and PL/SQL is used for management.

Software and Hardware Description

OS: Win8 64-bit operating system, memory: 8 GB. Oracle_11g_R2 64-bit version

1. Install Oracle11g Desktop

(1) decompress the downloaded oracle 11g (two) to the same file.

(2) Click setup under file a for installation.

(3) do not enter email

(4) Select Create Database Class

(5) set the base directory and database file location

(6) you can set a simple password.

(7) complete installation. Run

Run SQL PLUS. The installation is complete.

Ii. Install PL/SQL Developer

Click the .exe Installation File to install the tool.

(22-decompress instantclient-basic-win32-11.2.0.1.0.zip to E: \ app \ benley \ product

(3) create the NETWORK/ADMIN directory under the instantclient_12_1 directory and

E: \ app \ benley \ product \ 11.2.0 \ dbhome_1 \ NETWORK \ ADMIN Copy

(4) Add the environment variable TNS_ADMIN --> E: \ app \ benley \ product \ 11.2.0 \ dbhome_1 \ NETWORK \ ADMIN

(5) Run PLSQL without recording account information. Click Cancel to go to the homepage and click tool> preference.
