Although TX has launched qq For Linux, this log is sent again to commemorate the experience of running QQ in Linux.
Step 1: Use the root user to log on to Linux and mount the C drive partition of Windows XP.
Create a new folder and use it as the mount point for disk C of Windows XP. I chose/mnt/Windows xpc.
Mkdir/mnt/windowsxpc
Create a mount point
Mount-t ntfs/dev/sda1/mnt/windowsxpc
Step 2: switch to a common user to log on to Linux and install wine, because an error is prompted when the root user installs wine.
Open the terminal and enter the directory where the wine installation package is located, for example
CD/OPT
Decompress the wine installation package (I cannot decompress the package using commands here, so I have to right-click "open with archive manager". I don't know what's going on ?)
Tar xjvf wine-0.9.44.tar.bz2
Go to the decompressed folder.
CD wine-0.9.44
Install wineProgram
./Tools/wineinstall
The next step is an extremely long wait. After staring at the terminal in the compilation status for 10 minutes, I couldn't help but stand out --
Dinner ...... During the installation process, you will be prompted to select "yes" or "no", select "yes" for all, and press enter all the way. At the end of the installation, the terminal prompts you to enter the login password of the root user.
Code, which indicates the installation is about to end. If everything goes well, there will be "goodluky... "
This indicates that wine has been successfully installed on your Linux.
We recommend that you log out of the system and use the root user name to log on to Linux.
Step 3, because we have attached the C drive of the Windows XP system, then the C:/Windows/system32
The following files: mfc42.dll, msvcp60.dll, riched1_dll, riched32.dll
Copy the file to./wine/drive_c/Windows/system32 in the root user directory of Linux to overwrite the original file.
Step 4: Install QQ.
Switch to the directory where the QQ Installation File is located in the terminal, for example
CD/OPT
Run QQ installation files in wine Mode
Wine ipqq0750b.exe
Next, we can see the common QQ installation windows in Windows. The installation process is exactly the same as that in windows. Just click "Next" step. Here I want to remind you
One point, it is best to select the default value for the installation path of the QQ main program. The system will automatically save it to the Linux virtual Windows XP
Disk C, which prevents unknown errors during subsequent execution.
Step 5: After the installation is complete, delete timplatform.exe from the QQ installation directory./wine/drive_c/program files/Tencent/QQ.
Step 6: Set wine for QQ.
Enter the following command in the terminal to open the wine configuration file.
Winecfg
Click qq.exe in the "Applications" tab;
Select "WindowsXP" from the version drop-down box. After completing the preceding two steps, click "application" and switch to the "Libraries" tab. In the "New
Override for library "drop-down box to add riched20 and riched32, and finally confirm to exit.
Step 7: Run QQ.
A shortcut is created on the desktop when QQ is installed, but it is a. lnk file, which does not seem to work in Linux. I re-created a QQ starter, but double-click it does not respond. If you change the starter
to "running in terminal", double-click it and only a small window will pop up, and it disappears in an instant. I don't know what's going on? Finally, I can only use the command line on the terminal to Open QQ.
switch to the QQ main program installation directory on the terminal
Cd./wine/drive_c/program files/Tencent/QQ
wine qq.exe
