Install RAR on centos

Due to a recent plan and having to use rar, you need to install RAR on centos. The record is as follows:

wget http://www.rarsoft.com/rar/rarlinux-3.9.3.tar.gz

tar -xvf rarlinux-3.9.3.tar.gz

cd rar

make

 

The following information indicates that the installation is successful.
Mkdir-P/usr/local/bin
Mkdir-P/usr/local/lib
Cp rar unrar/usr/local/bin
CP rarfiles. LST/etc
CP default. SFX/usr/local/lib

However, when I run the command rar, the following problem occurs,

rar: /lib/i686/nosegneg/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.7' not found (required by rar)

Google, the solution is

cp rar_static /usr/local/bin/rar

In this case, OK.

BTW
Register RAR. Copy the key of the registration file to your/etc directory.
