1. Mount the system CD to/mnt/cdrom

Mkdir/mnt/cdrommount/dev/cdrom/mnt/cdrom

2. Enter/etc/yum.repo.d/set source

Cd/etc/yum.repos.d/touch Local-dvd.repo

The contents of the Local-dvd.repo file are as follows:

3. Installing the Missing development components

Yum-y Install GCC Kernel-devel

4. Exit the system CD and select Parallels tools in Parallels Desktop.
