Ii. Start Installation
1. There are three ways to open VMware ,:
① Click to create a new virtual machine;
② File → create a VM;
③ Press Ctrl + N.
2. Click Open and a wizard appears. We recommend that you click "Custom". Because there are some typical settings in the custom settings and more configurable items, you can simply click "Next" for items you don't understand, click Next ).
3. Select the installation source. The first is to use the optical drive, and the second is to use the virtual optical drive (you can directly use the downloaded virtual disc for installation). Here, select the third one, and then install it.
4. Select the operating system to be installed and select Linux. The version is Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 (whether to select 64-bit based on the situation ).
5. Name the system and select the storage location.
6. Select the number of processors (relational formula: Total number of processors = number of processors * Number of each processor core ).
Note: The larger the total number of processors, the faster the system speed in the virtual machine, and the CPU resources of the physical system will be occupied by it. The number cannot exceed the number supported by the host.
