I recently fell in love with the Ubuntu operating system, but it was quite uncomfortable to use the input method. After summing up the experience of my predecessors on the internet, I finally installed and used the fcitx little penguin input method in a few days. I will write down my installation and share it with you.
Open Application Program--- Attachment ---- terminal: Enter $ and enter the following command $ sudo apt-Get install fcitx Note: download and install fcitx $ sudo gedit ~ /. Bashrc Note: Add a new row at the end of the opened file. The content is as follows: Export xmodifiers = "@ im = fcitx". After the input is complete, save and exit. $ Im-switch-C note: Set the Default Input Method $ im-switch-s fcitx-Z deafult Note: set the system to call fcitx by default and click: system -- preference -- start the application select Add button in the pop-up window name fill in the fcitx command fill in fcitx-D point to add. Click system-system management-language support. The upgrade will be triggered and you can proceed with the upgrade. Return to the terminal $ sudo apt-Get install language-pack-ZH $ sudo apt-Get install language-pack-gnome-Zh. Note: The above Language Pack is updated, otherwise, the input method output is garbled $ sudo apt-Get remove ibus. Note: Clear the default Chinese Input Method ibus $ sudo gedit ~ /. Fcitx/config note: replace the first and second rows = In the first [] brackets in the open file with the font wenquanyi bitmap song [3 character D character] character × öì character (öd) = wenquanyi bitmap song has been running ~~~×ö~~( ó ¢) = wenquanyi bitmap Song Save the file, exit, restart, and you will find that the little penguin input method appears :)
