Install the flash plug-in of Firefox under ubuntu8.04

After ubuntu8.04 is installed, the firfox version is changed to the 3 beta5 version, which naturally makes me eager to try firefox 3.0, however, since there is no official version release, many of its plug-ins and extension version updates cannot keep up with the speed, resulting in the use of many extensions.
After installing the flash plug-in recommended by Ubuntu, the page displays the flash element as a gray frame with a triangle playing icon on it. It seems that there is no way to set it to automatic playback. Flash is only displayed after the mouse clicks the plug-in icon. When the entire page is filled with such a gray box, it is really uncomfortable. I want to uninstall it, but I still cannot find the method. Today, we finally know that the plug-in is called swfdec. You can find it in the new lide package or directly under the apt command line. Then uninstall it. Back to Adobe Flash Player.

Install things manually for the first time. The details are as follows:

Open Terminal
Wget http: // Ubuntu: ubuntuftp@ftp.ubuntu.org.cn/home/dbzhang800/wiki/install_flash_player_9_linux.tar.gz (can be manually downloaded from the Internet, but the command is more handsome)
Tar-zxvf install_flash_player_9_linux.tar.gz
CD install_flash_player_9_linux/
Sudo./flashplayer-Installer
Then, enter the installation path and prompt/usr/lib/Mozilla. Enter the/usr/lib/Firefox path to indicate that it is invalid. At last, I pointed out that the current path is not/usr/lib/Firefox... but the/usr/lib/firefox-3.0 and the plug-in folder is open .. when I saw it, my path was firefox-3.0. The input path/usr/lib/firefox-3.0 is correct.
