Simple Introduction to Ubuntu desktop use
Since version 2010.10, Unity has become the default desktop for Ubuntu. The Unity desktop environment breaks the traditional GNOME panel configuration. The left side of the desktop includes an initiator docking bar and a task management panel.
Unity Desktop in the first position on the left, set up a dash home search bar, all the apps under Ubuntu can be found through the search bar.
If we want to open the terminal, enter "terminal" or "terminal" directly in dash to find the corresponding software, click to start.
Installation of the Vmtools tool
Vmtools is a VMware toolkit that enhances the Linux installation in VMware, but does not work with Linux installed on a physical machine. we previously switched from the virtual machine system to window need to press "Ctrl + Alt" shortcut, if we vmtool tool without pressing the shortcut key, move the mouse directly to switch.

1, for the virtual machine display optimization and adjustment.
2, allow sharing host folder, convenient virtual machine access to host files
3, you can directly use right-click Copy Windows string to the Linux editor or terminal.
Vmtools installation process:
First step: Place the ISO image of the Vmtool into the CD drive of the virtual machine
Step Two
Step Three: Right-click the package and unzip the package.
Enter command under Terminal:
sudo ~/vmware-tools-distrib/vmware-install.pl
Note: ~ Represents the current user's home directory meaning: for example:/home/edu
Enter password
Regardless of any prompts, press ENTER to confirm until the prompt is installed.
After the installation is complete, restart the virtual machine. Then, drag and drop the size of the virtual machine, test once, and Ubuntu is adaptive. If not, reinstall the Vmtools Toolkit again by following the steps above.
