Install the epel package in CentOS
Official introduction:
After installing epel, install nginx, php, mysql, and yum install.
EPEL contains a package called 'epel-release', which contains the gpg key and software source information of the epel source.
Install nowepel-release
rpm -ivhhttp://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/6/x86_64/epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpm
The above address is changed frequently. You can open the following URL to find the epel package.
http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/6/x86_64/
Import the key of the RPM-GPG-KEY-EPEL
rpm --import /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-EPEL-6
After epel is installed, two files are generated under/etc/yum. repos. d/, epel. repo, epel-testing.repo
Modify the epel. repo file (epel-testing contains the latest test software package. Its version is new but installation is risky)
Before [epel-debuginfo], add
priority=11
In this way, yum will first go to the official site for search, and the official site will not go to epel for installation.
PS: there is also a good source calledatomic
, Including php-fpm, it is more convenient to install this source, this script will automatically install the corresponding system version, more worry-free.
wget -q -O - http://www.atomicorp.com/installers/atomic | sh
Similarlyrpmforge
The Installation Method of the corresponding version is also very good.
