Install the latest version of Nodejs on Ubuntu

Step1. Determine the OS version and CPU type before downloading binary files on nodejs.org 
$ getconf long_bit64$ uname-px86_64
Step2. Download the latest Linux version from nodejs.org

I downloaded the node-v6.9.2-linux-x64.tar.xz.

Step3. Execute the following command to extract node to/usr/local 
sudo tar 1 -xjf node-v6.9.2-linux-x64.tar.xz

After the decompression, you can confirm

Ls-l/usr/local/bin/nodels-l/USR/LOCAL/BIN/NPM
Step4. Installing NPM image CNPM 
sudo Install -G CNPM--registry=https://registry.npm.taobao.org
