Install the nVIDIA driver under RHEL5Xen

1. Download driver and driver patches from nVIDIA

2. Unlock the driver
/NVIDIA-Linux-x86-100.14.11-pkg1.run -- extract-only

3. Use Patches
Cd NVIDIA-Linux-x86-100.14.11-pkg1/usr/src/nv/
Patch-p1 <.../patch-xen3.0-nvidia100.14.11.txt

4. Compile the driver. (check that gcc and kernel-xen-devel have been installed)

Make SYSSRC =/usr/src/kernels/2.6.18-8. el5-xen-i686 module

5. COPY the driver to the system directory (if you have installed the nVIDIA driver in a non-XEN kernel, the nvidia directory already exists, please use NVIDIA-Linux-x86-100.14.11-pkg1/usr/src/nv/nvidia. ko overwrite/lib/modules/2.6.18-8. el5xen/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia. ko)

Mkdir/lib/modules/2.6.18-8. el5xen/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia
Cp nvidia. ko/lib/modules/2.6.18-8. el5xen/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia

6. depmod-
Reboot

7. Main Menu-> system-> Management-> display
Hardware-> video card type (configuration)-> nvidia-Vendor-supplied driver for nvidia cards-> OK

[Note] And then log on again. The system has used the nvidia official driver, and the projection output and high resolution are normal!
