Background:

Because I changed my laptop and I had no Ubuntu on the hard disk, I 'd like to know that I had followed me for almost four years on the computer that came on stage, but I would not have said it. The original livecd could not be used on this computer for some reason (PS: I ensure that the disk is correct, because it was fixed by the livecd boot when Ubuntu went wrong ), it is troublesome to buy another disk. When I went to school, I tried to use grub to directly guide the image on the hard disk to install Linux, but it was very troublesome. I found the method for making livecd with a USB flash drive on the Internet, which is very useful in the test. So let's share it with you.

Hero 1: xiaou

At least 1 GB of U disk (because the livecd is about MB );

Heroine No. 1: Xiao o

Ultraiso (a good tool)

Third party: Ubuntu

In verycd, we can see the following: I use 10.04, and I prefer this version.

Special Guest:

That's you.

First scene

Prepare the livecd ISO image;

Install ultraiso;

Plug in your USB flash drive

Okay, herewe go.

First, second act:

Use ultraiso to open the livecd image file, and then

Then, the "write to hard disk image" window appears. Then select "easy to start" and select "write new hard disk Boot Record (MBR )":

Select "syslinux "...... This is the guiding sector that plays a decisive role.

After the writing is successful, click write directly and copy the image file to the USB flash disk. The writing time varies depending on the quality and speed of the USB flash disk, for example, I wrote a portable USB flash drive for my buddy, which was produced in mass production for almost an hour. I am stuck in the woods, but fortunately the installation was successful, so I didn't waste my time, there is a CD left;

After the writing is successful, liveu (I want to call it this way, haha, U is a word, meaning it is too much). Then, let's see that all your USB flash drive icons have become wuban diagrams. Haha.

Restart your PC and set the boot item to USB flash drive and reboot in BIOS.

The third act of the first game:

Well, it really goes in, and then goes all the way to next, to the partition step, select manual partition (advanced ). In the past, it was easier to choose the disk you want to create a partition and set the size. Then you can automatically split the disk and install it. But 10.04 has changed and cannot be divided at will. This is indeed tangled. I don't want to accidentally destroy something in a disk. However, if we have a powerful win7, go back to "win7", right-click my computer, choose "manage"> "disk management", and right-click the corresponding disk, compress the volume-manually vacuum 15 GB is enough for you. (PS: If I use 8 GB in the virtual machine, configure the embedded environment and use two or three versions of kernel source code to build a kernel source code tree. Basically, 8 GB is full, if you have installed a hard disk, at least higher than this value, you will soon be filled with QQ, libfetion, wine, and other things, so we recommend around 15 GB .)

OK, go to liveu again, select the partition manually, create a 1 GB swap partition, and then build the remaining 14 GB into the root (/) partition, then set the user name and password, and then start to install it. If there is no accident, there will be no problem.

It is undeniable that I am using OpenOffice to edit this article under ubuntu10.04, which is being guided and installed by the No. 1 leading person. It is really easy to use.
