Install USB view in Ubuntu
Usb view is a USB device analysis software. This tool is used to detect the PID and VID information of a usb device. The so-called VID refers to the Vendor ID, that is, the manufacturer ID, PID is the product ID. With the VID and PID details, we can generally know the chips of our devices.
1. Install the gtk3.0 Environment
Sudo apt-get install libgtk-3-dev

2. Download the USB view source code http://www.kroah.com/linux-usb/usbview-2.0.tar.gz
3../configure & make install 4. Run
