Install VMware and VirtualBox virtual machines in Kali Linux
1. Install VMware Workstation 10.0 in Kali Linux
First download VMware Workstation 10.0 from the official website ;:
Https://my.vmware.com/web/vmware/details? DownloadGroup = WKST-1006-LX & productId = 362 & rPId = 8483
Then cd to the download directory and enter:
Sudo chmod + x *. bundle & sudo./*. bundle to start Installation
Or open the terminal and enter:
Wget https://download3.vmware.com/software/wkst/file/VMware-Workstation-Full-10.0.1-1379776.x86_64.bundle & sudo chmod + x *. bundle & sudo./*. bundle
Then start the installation:
After the installation is successful, open VMware Workstation 10.0 and you will be prompted that/usr/src does not have the headers header file, which requires installation. This is annoying!
To solve the linux-headers problem caused by vmware installation, you only need to run one command:
Apt-get install linux-headers-$ (uname-r)
You can also search for kernel-headers-3.7-trunk-all in the xinlide software manager, select to install all the plug-ins, and then start VMware Workstation 10.0 to continue the installation:
