Install VMware in Linux

Linux vmware-tool installation:
1) Select install VMware tool from the VM entry on the VMware Workstation menu bar...
2) Run Mount-T iso9660/dev/CDROM/MNT in Linux, then the installation package is displayed under/mnt /.
3) copy the installation package to a temporary directory, CP/mnt/vmware-linux-tool.tar.gz/tmp
4) umount/dev/CDROM
5) tar xzvf vmware-linux-tools.tar.gz
7) run the./install. pl Command on CD vmware-Linux-tools.

In addition:
* Sometimes you need to create/etc/PAM. d/to continue.
* If the installation of VMware-tool keeps running, check the running status of the process. If mkinitrd-H keeps eating CPU, kill the process manually. However, some vmware-tool may fail.
