1. Install VMware Tools:

Mount: block device/dev/sr0 write protection, which will be mounted in read-only mode

Mount:/dev/sr0 mounted or/media busy

Mount: According to mtab,/dev/sr0 has been mounted to/media

Manifest.txt run_upgrader.sh VMwareTools-9.6.4-2441333.tar.gz vmware-tools-upgrader-32 vmware-tools-upgrader-64

2. copy the file to the/tmp file and decompress it.

Bkjia@bkjia.com:/tmp $ cp/media/VMwareTools-9.6.4-2441333.tar.gz/tmp

Bkjia@bkjia.com:/tmp $ cd/tmp

Bkjia@bkjia.com:/tmp $ ls

Config-err-sNYdPu ibus. log unity_support_test.0 VMwareTools-9.6.4-2441333.tar.gz

Bkjia@bkjia.com:/tmp $ tar-xzvf VMwareTools-9.6.4-2441333.tar.gz

3. This is the decompressed directory. (Vmware-tools-distrib directory ). Then perform the compilation operation for the./vmware-install.pl

Bin doc etc files install installer lib vmware-install.pl

Bkjia@bkjia.com:/tmp/vmware-tools-distrib $./vmware-install.pl

Then you can try it out. copy the data in Ubuntu and paste it in Windows.
