Install webmin in debian4.0

Install webmin in debian4.0-Debian Technology in the Linux release. For details, refer to the following section. Download Webmin:

Wget http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/webadmin/webmin-1.340.tar.gz

Decompress:
# Tar xzvf webmin-1.340.tar.gz

Go to the webmin directory:
# Cd webmin-1.340

Installation:
#./Setup. sh

Config file directory [/etc/webmin]: default configuration file directory

Log file directory [/var/webmin]: Default Log file directory

Check Perl Installation

Web server port (default 10000): default webmin web server port

Login name (default admin): the user name used to log on to webmin through a browser. The default value is admin.

Login password: Enter the logon password.

Password again: Enter the user logon Password again

Start Webmin at boot time (y/n): whether to run webmin during linux Startup

Then, the installation is complete.

Open http: // 127.0.0.1: 10000 or

Http: // localost: 10000. The logon page is displayed!
