1. Windows 7 was originally named x220, skipped;
2. There is only one C disk on the x220. You can use acronis Disk Director Suite to modify partitions;
(Pqmagic was used for disk partitions in the past, but it seems that hard disk partitions will be damaged)
3. Use ultraiso to write the Ubuntu image into the U disk (refer to the http://www.jnnb.com/read.php? Tid-49748.html)
4, restart x220, press F12, select the USB-HDD to start, at this time will encounter the problem:
Screen Display:
Start booting from USB device...
Syslinux...
Then there is no response.
The solution is to modify syslinux \ syslinux. cfg in the USB flash drive and comment out the line "Default vesamenu. c32.
5. re-insert the USB flash drive and restart x220 to install ubuntu.
6. Set win7 to the default startup Item.
Go to Ubuntu, modify/boot/GRUB/grub. cfg, and change set default = "0"
Set default = "4. (The specific number can be determined based on the actual situation)
(In earlier versions of ubuntu, menu. LST was used to manage startup items, and grub. cfg was used in the latest version)
