Just give a method for your reference! The wps for Linux version has been unavailable for two or three years. Of course, the wps effects on other platforms, such as windows, Android, and ios, are awesome.
The steps for successful installation are as follows:
1. Go to the official website to download the alpha version. Do not download the beta version. Otherwise, install it but it cannot be opened:

I chose to install the a12p4_i386.deb package. wps currently only has 32-bit versions, but not 64-bit versions.
2. Install the ia-32libs installation package to run the basic library required by the 32 program on a 64-bit system. The following method applies to the 64-bit versions of Ubuntu 13.10 and 14.04.
One command.
Sudo apt-get install libgtk2.0-0: i386 then install the library sudo apt-get install ttf-mscorefonts-installer
3. Double-click the downloaded deb package to install it from the software center by default. After the installation is complete, open it.
4. The installation is complete. Start the wps word and start the user experience.
Enter wps in the Ubuntu Dash board and the three programs w, p, and s will be displayed. We select w to start the program and the following configuration warning is displayed:
The system detects that the system lacks the font wingdings, wingdings 2 ,......, Follow the solutions provided by the wps community.
I have uploaded this deb package here. You are welcome to download it. Of course, the wps Community Forum has also downloaded it.

Currently, the WPS for Linux formula requires the corresponding Symbol fonts (such as symbol, windings, and mt extra). Due to copyright reasons, WPS for Linux does not pack and install such fonts. If you need, use this font type with authorization. Install the deb package of the Symbol installation package, and restart wps.
The following figure shows the effect of successful wps installation.
