I always wanted to change from windows to Linux. I was worried about the development efficiency at the beginning and never switched. Recently, Ubuntu released 14.04 LTS. I just installed it and configured the development environment, then install sogou input method and wps.

If you encounter this problem when running WPS, it may be caused by the following reasons that your system lacks part of the symbol Font,

Currently, the WPS for Linux formula requires the corresponding Symbol fonts (such as symbol, windings, and mt extra). Due to copyright reasons, WPS for Linux does not pack and install such fonts. If you need, use this font type with authorization.

Download the font DEB package from the previous page. Installation:
Sudo dpkg-I symbol-fonts_1.2_all.deb

Now, if you open WPS again, the problem will not occur again.
