Installation and configuration of MySQL 5.6 in Windows (big image version), mysql5.6

I. Preparations before installation

1. Download the installation package from the official MySQL website www.mysql.com. 1-1:

Ii. Installation

1. Double-click the downloaded installation file. The MySQL version installed in this blog is 5.6.10.1, and the page 1-3 is displayed:

2. Click "Install MySQL Products" to go to the 1-4 Page:

3. Check "I accept the license terms" and click "Next". the update page for the latest product appears from 1 to 5. If you do not like updates, you can select "Skip the check for updates (not recommended)" below and click "Next" to continue:

4. Select the appropriate installation type according to the installation type description file on the right, as shown in figure 1-6. Modify the installation path to avoid re-installing MySQL after the system is reinstalled:

5. Depending on the installation type you selected, you will need to install some frameworks. Click "Execute" to install the required framework, 1-7:

6. During framework installation, 1-8:

7. After the framework is successfully installed, 1-9:

8. After the required frameworks are successfully installed, click "Next" from 1 to 10 ":

9. Start installation. 1-11. Click "Execute". During installation, page 1-12 is displayed:

10. Confirm the configuration information. Click "Next" from 1 to 13 ":

11. server configuration Selection: Developer Machine-the installed MySQL server is part of the development Machine. Among the three types of selection, the least memory is occupied; server Machine -- the MySQL Server installed is part of the Server Machine, which occupies the center among the three types. The Dedicated MySQL Server Machine -- installs the Dedicated MySQL database Server, which occupies all the valid memory of the Machine. If you do not want to modify the default port 3306, click "Next ":

12. Set the administrator password, 1-15, select "Add User", and create a User. It is best not to create a User from the security perspective:

13. On the page 1-16, you can set the name of the system server, whether the MySQL database server is automatically started at the same time, the default options are available, and click "Next ":

14. confirm that the installation is complete. Check "Start MySQL Workbench after Setup" to test the installation. Click "Finish ":

Iii. Installation successful

1. the Workbench GUI page is displayed, ranging from 1 to 18. The installation is successful:
