What is "1" Kali Linux?

Kali Linux is an advanced penetration testing and security audit Linux distribution.

"2" Kali linux default password The default password for Linux root is toor default root password

You can set a password for the root user during installation of Kali. But if you're using live, i386, AMD64, VMware, or arm mirroring, Root's default password is Toor.

"4" Install Kali Linux

Installation Required:

Virtual machines

You can choose Vmware Workstation and Vitruebox

Individuals prefer vitruebox small, free and enough geek Vitruebox official: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads

Under Windows operating system, select version:

Vitruebox installation process is simple, basic all the way next and default, omitted here.

The next generation of VirtualBox started installing Kali Linux. Click New input

Click Next to set the memory size, because my notebook has 4G of memory, I will Kali Linux memory properly tuned to 1024M (1G memory) so that the guarantee program will not because the memory is too small to boot or the system card dead.

Next select Add virtual hard disk now

Click Create

Virtual hard disk File type, select the VDI type. Next, select fixed size, next.

Here because the default path in the C-drive my disk size is insufficient, solid I chose the e-disk to store VDI, the Kali virtual hard disk size is set to be greater than or equal to 20GB. Such as

Wait a minute. After nearly 3 minutes of waiting, the installation is finally finished. Click the icon

After double-clicking, click the folder icon in the Pop-up window, select the image file you just downloaded from the Kali website, and click Start

Select graphical Install (image installation, easy to understand) Click OK tips:virtualbox double Ctrl to eject the virtual machine screen

　　

Choose the language according to your preference, I choose Simplified Chinese, continue. Next is all the way to continue and is, will host name fill in your favorite name, I default Kali, click Continue.

Because it is in the intranet so fill in the domain name, click Continue.

Set the root password, fill in your password, fill out the click Continue. Next go all the way by default, come on stop, select Yes, click Continue.

Started installing the

When the installation progress is half, the network image appears, select Yes, then click Continue.

After installation, the Kali system will automatically reboot into the login screen.

User name default is the root click Login password is just the password you set yourself, click Login. The next step is to enter the exciting Kali interface!!
