Experiment One :

Experiment Name: Install the Win7 system inside the virtual machine

Experiment Description: To master the steps of installing the operating system in the virtual machine, let the installed system run normally

Step 1: Click New virtual Machine-check customize then click Next-Check install operating system Click Next-Select guest operating system-select virtual machine Install location-set virtual machine memory-network type Select Use Default-I/ol Type and disk type selection Default-Choose Create New disk-Set disk size-click Done

Step Two: Select Virtual machine Click Settings-Select CD/DVD then select Use ISO image file to load the file and click OK-click on the virtual machine system to start the installation-Select Custom Install-click on the Drive Advanced option and click New-System to start the installation

Experiment Summary: Through doing this experiment, found that in the installation process to achieve partition must choose the installation location when choosing new input hard disk size, otherwise it is easy to cause the installation can not be partitioned after the completion

Experiment Two

Experiment Name: A folder in the host is provided to the virtual machine for access

Experimental description: To facilitate virtual machine access to the physical computer's file resources

Step 1: Select menu virtual Machine Select Install VMware Tools-click Cancel Update-Go to DVD disk to install VMware Tools Finalize installation of VMware Tools-reboot-click on the virtual machine selection settings and then click Options-Select Shared folder and then select Always on the right-tick the map as a network drive in Windows client-click Add to select the folder you want to host shared- And then restart

Step 2: Restart after clicking on the computer to find one more file-click into discovery has been shared success

Summary: The problem encountered in this experiment is easy to forget to choose to add that option, if not selected then although the map is successful but the folder is empty, so click to add the Host Host folder path to be shared
