Installation and use of Cisco TFTP Server Software

1, install the Cisco TFTP Server Software (file name Tftpserver1-1-980730.exe) on Windows * System computer;

2, with WinZip software c2500-i-l.113-6.zip file for decompression, the extracted file name is C2500-i-l.113-6.bin, the file is copied into the hard disk-----subdirectories, such as D:\cisco.

3, start Cisco TFTP Server Software;

4, select "View"-"options" on the TFTP Server software interface, select "Browse" on the options interface, on the "TFTP Server root" option, Point the directory to the directory where the C2500-i-l.113-6.bin file is located, such as D:\cisco or other.

5, into the router to upgrade, the Ethernet address configured to install the TFTP software on the same network segment, and can ping the computer (in fact, it can not be the same network segment, as long as can be guaranteed ping).

6, in the router's privileged state (e.g. under router#), type copy TFTP flash
