Installation and use of mahout0.11.0

Installing mahout0.11.0

There are two ways to install, one is to download the installation directly, and the other is to compile the installation. Here is a way to use one.

wget http://www.eu.apache.org/dist/mahout/0.11.0/apache-mahout-distribution-0.11.0.tar.gz
TAR-XZVF Apache-mahout-distribution-0.10.1-src.tar.gz-c/opt/
cd/opt/apache-mahout-distribution-0.11.0

Configuration

To use Spark in mahout, you need to configure Mahout_home and Spark_home, as shown below, and you can modify it to your own environment.

Export mahout_home=/opt/apache-mahout-distribution-0.11.0
Export spark_home=/opt/cloudera/parcels/ Cdh-5.3.8-1.cdh5.3.8.p0.5/lib/spark
