Installation configuration for the Linux TFTP server

Here is still relatively old TFTP and TFTPD, recommended that we use TFTP-HPA and TFTPD-HPA, increase the version of the words in the security or to do a promotion.
For example, the TFTPD I use now cannot support other machines uploading to the server.

{Related Steps}
1. Install the Package

sudo install tftpd tftp xinetd

2. Setting up the configuration file
Set up a configuration file tftp under/etc/xinetd.d/

sudo nano/etc/xinetd.d/tftp

Add the following content

service tftp{    = dgram    = udp    wait = Yes    = root    =/usr/sbin/in. tftpd    =-s/var/tftpboot    = no        2= IPv4    }    

3. Set up TFTP service file directory
In the above configuration there is Server_args =-s/var/tftpboot, where/var/tftpboot this directory is the location of the download file

sudo mkdir -p/var/sudochmod777 /var/tftpboot-r

4. Restart the TFTP service

sudo /etc/init.d/xinetd Restart

5. Verify that the restart is successful

Grep

See the following information to indicate a successful restart of UDP 0 0 *:tftp *:* 6, test

$ touch/var/tftpboot/ctest
$ cd ~
127.0. 0.1
Tftp> Get CTest
Tftp> Q
$ ls

See if the current directory has ctest if there is a representation, everything is successful.
