Installation of ArcGIS 9.3 Desktop

Note: 1. Before installation, prepare the installation and cracking files of ArcGIS 9.3 desktop and server;

2. There are no successive installation steps for License Manager and desktop. you can install either of them first;

3. Make sure that the computer name is not a Chinese character or the name contains an underscore;

1. Install License Manager

1. Open ArcGIS 9.3 \ Desktop \ esri.exe

2. First click to install ArcGIS License Manager

3. Click Browse and select arcgis9.3 \ crack \ arcgis9.3.crack \ license_server_crack \ license. dat.

4. Click Next until installation is complete.

5. choose not to restart the computer and click Finish.

6. Copy arcgis.exe and license. Lic in the crack directory to overwrite the files in the authorization management directory (for example, c: \ Program Files \ ESRI \ license \ arcgis9x)

Use NotePad to edit license. Lic and change the Host Name of the first line to the name or IP address of your machine. (For example, server 192.168.1.100 esri_sentinel_key = 37102011 27001)

7. Open License Manager tools

8. click Configuration using services and select arggis license server"

9. Click the configure Services tab and set path to the license file: (for example, c: \ Program Files \ ESRI \ license \ arcgis9x \ license. Lic)

10. Click Save service.

11. Click the start/stop/reread tab, click the stop server button, and then click the start server button.

12. Check whether the authorization file is successfully installed: Click the server diagnostic tab and click perform diagnostic to wait until the operation is completed. If this license can be checked out is displayed, the description is OK. See the figure below.

II,DesktopInstallation

Before installing desktop, install. Net framework3.5.1. The installation package contains the corresponding installation file. If the system is Windows Server 2008 and the server has been integrated, simply add it.

Click the setup button next to ArcGIS Desktop to start installation.

Agree to the agreement and click Next;

Select the first item, because we have installed License Manager first;

Select ArcInfo and click Next;

Select a typical installation and click Next;

Select the installation directory and click Next;

After the installation is complete, start the desktop administrator in ArcGIS to set the License Manager and change it to the local machine. Open the desktop and test the installation. If you can access the desktop, the installation is successful.
