With the development of embedded, Linux knowledge is a necessary part, let us do the Linux system installation process demonstration:

First, the installation of Linux
This blog is described in red flag Asianux Workstation 3 As an example, and other versions of Linux are similar.
1.1 Mounting method
According to the way the Linux system exists in the computer, the installation of Linux is divided into single system, multi-system and virtual machine.
1. Single system installation. The Linux system is installed on the computer and no other operating system is available.
2. Multi-system installation. In the same computer, in addition to installing a Linux system and other operating systems, the computer needs to allocate hard disk space, and according to the needs of different operating systems, the hard disk to establish a corresponding format of the partition.
3. Virtual machine installation. Refers to an environment that is virtualized for Linux installation and operation by virtual machine software under installed Windows systems.
two. Pre-Installation Preparation
1, installation of VMS and preparation work introduction

This installation we use virtual machine installation, first of all, of course we need to install virtual machine, Here we use this version of VM Virtual Machine vmware-workstation-full-11.0.0-2305329.exe (click to download, Password: IRW1), then we need to install the Linux system Red Flag DC Server 5.0 CD (click to download, Password: 30VR), before installing the Linux system as a virtual machine, make sure that there is enough free space on one of the Windows disks that will hold the virtual machine files in the future. If you install only the basic system of Asianux Workstation 3 (1th to 3rd disc), you need approximately 8G of space, if you need to install the management tools (4th CD) or development tools (5th CD), you need to increase the space of the 2g/disc on the base system. As the embedded system development of the host computer, installation of the basic system can be.
Now we install the VMware Workstation virtual machine software, the installation is very simple, in the installation process, if there is no special settings, click the "NEXT" button in order to complete the installation, will appear on the desktop after the VMware The workstation icon. As shown in the following:

After restarting, enter your password, as shown, and enter the password you set at the time of installation:

After entering the operating system with the correct password, we are able to perform simple command line interaction as follows:

At this point, we have completed the installation of the Linux operating system on the virtual machine, for multi-operating system installation refers to the installation of multiple operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, etc. installed in different partitions of the same computer hard disk.        Windows systems must be installed in the primary partition, and Linux systems can be installed in other partitions. You first need to install the Windows system. When you partition your hard disk during Windows Setup, you are reserving enough disk space for Linux. After the Windows installation is complete, set the disc as the first boot device, and then restart the computer after placing it on the first disc of Linux, and Linux will mount the multiple boot Manager grub (GRand Unified Bootloader) software that allows the user to select the system to be entered when the computer is started. The multi-system Linux installation process is the same as the virtual machine installation process, which is not described in detail here.

The above is the Linux operating system installation process.
