Installation of Linux

My installation is CD-ROM installed Centos6.5 (because I want to install MySQL, but the default installation on Centos7 is MARIADB).

First download the image file from http://www.centoscn.com/CentosSoft/iso/2013/1205/2196.html, then burn the disc through the image file,

Put the CD into the optical drive, boot, F2 choose to boot from the CD-ROM,

Select the first item: Install or update the system, enter (do not hit enter the system will automatically start the installation at the end of the countdown).

Test the installation of the disc meaning, because the disc is engraved on my own, it is certainly safe, so do not detect, in order to save time, choose "Skip" Skip, start the installation.

Second, into the installation process can go all the way next, the first is the choice of language, according to personal preferences installed, usually English or Chinese. If it is in Chinese, then it is much simpler, because a lot of hints will switch to Chinese.

Third, select the storage device to install, here I select the local hard disk

Four, storage device warning. Here will detect the hard drive data, I am a brand new installation, so choose: Yes. Time, of course, is Shanghai, China (want to choose Beijing, the result is not).

Five, set the root account password, this is the system to enter the root user to use the password, if set up a very simple system will prompt password is not safe, but the direct use is good, the system can be changed after the installation.

Six, the arrival of the partition interface, the computer is a new installation, and only one system, so all the space can be used (to avoid partition format is not correct, not select Custom), choose to use all the space, and agree to write the changes to disk, and then start formatting.

Seven, choose to install CentOS components, click Find can only select, so I choose: now customize, and then all installed (because I do not know which is not used).

Eight, and then can be installed, the installation process is long, you can go to dry point, after the installation is completed, the system will prompt the installation of CentOS has been completed, then click the Restart button can be. So the new Centos6.5 is installed.
