(i) installation of VIRTUALBOX+REDHAT5

A) virtual machine environment Oracle developed VirtualBox, image file,redhat5 Enterprise Edition bit

b) Memory size stand-alone 1G,RAC installation Environment 1.5 above.

c) Install the hard drive (virtual hard disk Select default).

Physical Disk Selection: Physical Disk If it is a shared storage, to select a fixed size, only then install the operating system locally, dynamically allocated. Whether it's a single machine or a RAC is a 30G size hard drive is enough.

d) network card settings:host-only, install RAC with virtual machine to select two network cards.

e) Start installation , partition only 3 :Swap,/, boot

f) The settings of the network card: static assignment, hostname not set (127 on the display is not correct, especially RAC)

Gateway with eth0(this Gateway is to exist in the RAC environment and can ping ), the DNS Do not set (do not surf the Internet)

g) Both the development package and the development library are selected (including subfolders, pre-installation of packages)

Development-base system-desktop Environments

h) firewall off,selinux off.

i) host name settings, and restart
