Installation path for Linux lookup software

The software installation path may be more than one, you can use the Whereis command to view all the software installation path, in MySQL as an example:

whereis MySQL

This command returns all the installation paths for the software:

MySQL:/usr/bin/mysql/etc/mysql/usr/lib/mysql/usr/bin/x11/mysql/usr/include/mysql/usr/share/mysql/usr/share/ man/man1/mysql. 1. gz

Of course, you can just look at the path where the program files are running, and you can use the which command:

which MySQL

The results returned are as follows:

/usr/bin/mysql
