Installation watir-1.5.6 Error

Many people on the Internet say that watir is installed with Gem, but many people ignore the correspondence between watir and Ruby.

I downloaded the watir-1.5.6.gem from my local Ruby version 1.8.6 and copied it to the root directory. When the network is smooth, run the following command in the CMD command line:

Gem install watir-1.5.6.gem

The best way to solve this problem is to first update the gem and execute the following command:

Gem update -- System

You can run the gem install watir-15.6.gem command only after the update is complete. This method requires smooth network connection. If a Domain Server is used in the company, the Network may not respond and the installation may fail. There is no reason, and there is no good way, unless you are familiar with the company's network management.

The second solution is also simple, that is, give up using watir-1.5.6.gem. If your ruby version is 1.8.6, you can download the watir-1.5.4.gem. Watir-1.5.4.gem:
