Eclipse 3.4 (Ganymede)
- Start Eclipse, then select Help > software Updates.... In the dialog box that appears. Click the Available software tab.
- Click Add Site
- Enter the following URL in the Location field of the Add Site dialog box: http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse .
Click OK.
- Back to the Available software interface. Click to expand http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipseto see the list of plugins included in the URL. Among them are Developer Tools. Select the check box next to Developer Tools and click Install.
- The selected Android DDMS and Android development Tools should appear in the installation form that appears.
Click Next.
- Read and accept the license agreement. Then click Finish.
- Start Eclipse again.
Eclipse 3.5 (Galileo)
- Start Eclipse, then select Help > Install New software.
- In the Available Software dialog box, click Add....
- in the Add Site dialog box, in the Name field. Enter the name of the remote Web site (such as "Android Plugin"). in the Location field. Enter the following URL:https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/ Note: If you encounter problems with the plugin, you can change https in the URL to HTTP (more secure using HTTPS). Click OK.
- Back to the Available software interface, you should be able to see the Developer Tools option in the list. Select the check box next to Developer Tools. Will check Android DDMS and Android development Tools at the same time. Click Next.
- In the final Install Details dialog box, features such as Android DDMS and Android development Tools are listed.
Click Next to read and accept the license agreement. Install all related components at the same time and click Finish.
- Start Again Eclipse.
