Installing and configuring Oracle Warehouse Builder 11.2.0.3

OWB contains the following components

• The OWB Client (which includes the Design center and the Control Center Manager)

• The OWB Browser

• Control Center Service

• Control Center Agent

• The Repository

Oracle Database 11g Release 2 contains all the components of the OWB.

OWB provides five topology installations based on business needs

1. Stand-alone topologies

2. Client and database service detach topology

3. Multi-Database topology

4. Client, control Center service, database service detach topology

5. Control Center agent topology

Stand-alone topologies

OWB all the components are running on a single computer.

One, install the client on Windows.

Download the installation package Owb_11.2.0.3_windows_x86-64.zip to the official website and unzip it. As follows

At this point, the installation is complete, click the Exit button.

Second, install server-side (Linux)

The database version is 11.2.0.4.0, so the server does not have to install OWB, only two users can be unlocked

sql> conn/as sysdbaconnected.sql> alter user Owbsys identified by Owbsys account unlock; User altered. sql> alter user Owbsys_audit identified by owbsys_audit account unlock; User altered.
