Installing and uninstalling software under Linux

Search for a package: Yum search file name
Search for a package: Yum list |grep ' vim '

Yum grouplist: List all available groups

Yum Install + package Name: Installing a Package
Yum Remove RPM Package Name: Uninstall includes dependent packages
Yum Update RPM Package name: Upgrade all packages of the system
Yum provides "/asterisk/vim": wildcard, use * without knowing the package name.

2. Make a Yum local warehouse
1, do a good job of backup, Cp-r/etc/yum.repos.d//etc/yum.repos.d.bak
2. Delete all the files inside YUM.REOOS.D: RM-RF./*
3. Create a new file Dvd.repo:vi Dvd.rpoe

4, enter the following content in the Dvd.repo file: Wq Save exit

5. Refresh Repos Generated cache
Yum Clean All

6. Is the view successful? Take a look at the Yum list or use the Yum list |less to view all

Yum Install package name--downloadonly default path:/var/cache/yum/x86_64/updates/packages
