Install and use RMySQL in Windows. first install R,: http://ftp.ctex.org/mirrors/CRAN/bin/windows/base/ 2. install R-tools, http://ftp.ctex.org/mirrors/CRAN/bin/windows/Rtools/ 3. install MySQL (I installed MySQL 5.5. in the R installation directory, create Renviron under the \ etc directory. open the site file in notepad and add the following content: 1

MYSQL_HOME =/MySQL Server 5.5 (MySQL installation path)

 

5. in the MySQL directory, find libmysql under the \ lib directory. lib and libmysql. dll files, copy them to \ lib \ opt (New without this directory), and copy libmysql. dll is copied to the R installation directory \ bin \ i386 (32bit) or \ bin \ i386 (64bit) 6. open R-GUI and enter the following: 1 
Install. packages ("RMySQL", type = "source ")

Complete the installation!
