Installing Apache PHP (SUSE Linux)

1. The SUSE Linux configuration command is as follows:

./Configure -- with-apxs2 =/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs -- with-mysql



2. make and make install.

3. Remember to stop the Apache service before installation. /Path/bin/httpd-k stop.

4. If the undefined symbol: _ efree error occurs when you restart the Apache service, make clean in the source directory of PHP5 and reinstall it. This error is generally caused by a restart error when the PHP module is installed as Apache.
