Installing dual-system Windows+ubuntu with EASYBCD

1) Install EASYBCD

2) A little bit will run EASYBCD, later on the desktop double-click Run, in the first step to select "Simplified Chinese", and then click "Go" to continue;

 

 

The next copyright cue point is "OK" to continue;

 

 

3) in the left column of the program window, click "Add New Item";

 

 

4) Then on the right side out a panel, point to the right of the "Neogrub" tab, and then click on the bottom of the "Install" button;

 

 

5) Wait for the installation to complete, then click the "Configure" button next to it;

 

 

6) Come out a notepad window, delete the contents inside, copy the following contents into;

Title Install Ubuntu

Root (hd0,0)

Kernel/vmlinuz Boot=casper iso-scan/filename=/ubuntu-12.10-desktop-i386.iso Quiet Splash ro locale=zh_cn. UTF-8 NoPrompt--

Initrd/initrd.lz

If there are 100M reserved partitions in the system, to change the second sentence to (hd0,1), check the method see the Basic 1 course, the third sentence in the red file name, but also to their own downloaded image file name;

 

7) Save the file, close Notepad, and then close EASYBCD;

 

 2. Copy the boot file

1) Copy the downloaded Ubuntu image file to the C: disk and open it with 7-zip or WinRAR;

 

 

2) Locate the Casper folder double-click Open, inside there is an I start and V file;

 

 

3) Open the C: disk, the Casper in the Initrd.lz and Vmlinuz dragged to the C: disk, then C: Disk has three copies of the file;

 

 

4) Close the C: Disk folder window and restart the computer;

 

 3. Install Ubuntu system

1) Restart the computer, when the boot menu appears, press the arrow key to select "Neogrub boot loader", press ENTER enter;

 

 

2) in the next Install Ubuntu menu, press ENTER directly;

 

 

3) patiently wait for the system to load until the desktop appears, click on the top left corner of the circle button, wait for the next out of the text box to enter the letter ter and then click the bottom out of the terminal icon;

 

 

4) in the out-of-terminal window, enter sudo umount-l/isodevice and press ENTER;

 

 

5) Double-click the "Install Ubuntu" icon in the upper left corner of the desktop, and wait for the installation dialog box;

 

 

6) in the "Installation Type" step, select "Other Options" and click Continue;

 

 

7) at the time of partitioning this step, if you do not change the bottom of the bootstrapper position, then by Ubuntu to boot Windows, relatively simple does not require the 4th step of operation,

and click on the drop-down list below, you can install the bootloader to Ubuntu partition, and then in the 4th step, add the boot entry in Win7, so do not change the Win7 MBR, with Win7 to guide Ubuntu;

 

 

8) Then step by step after the installation of restart the computer, in the Grub boot menu, press the arrow key into Windows 7, the C: disk in the Ubuntu image file and Initrd.lz and Vmlinuz deleted;

 

 

9) Start EASYBCD, click "Add a Project-neogrub", out of the panel below the point "delete";

 

 

 4. Win7 Boot dual system Ubuntu

1) If the installation of the partition that step, the boot is installed in the Ubuntu partition, you need to add the Ubuntu startup item in the EASYBCD;

 

2) Start EASYBCD, click "Add a Project-neogrub", out of the panel under the point "Configuration", delete the original content, paste the following content into Notepad;

Kernel/boot/grub/i386-pc/core.img

If the/boot is partitioned separately, use the following:

3) If it is Ubuntu 12.04 installed, paste the following content
