Installing Docker on Linux

1. Make sure Yum is up to date

$ yum Update

2. Add a yum repository

Tee/etc/yum.repos.d/docker.repo <<-' EOF '  [Dockerrepo]  name=Docker Repository  BaseURL=https://yum.dockerproject.org/repo/main/centos/$releasever/  enabled=1   gpgcheck=1  gpgkey=https://yum.dockerproject.org/gpg  EOF  

3. Installing Docker

$ yum install-y docker-engine

After the installation is successful, use the Docker version command to see if the installation was successful, after the installation------as

4. Start Docker

$ systemctl Start Docker.service

5. Set up boot from boot

$ sudo systemctl enable Docker

6. Use the Docker version command again to view

There are two parts of client and service to indicate that the installation and startup are successful.
