First of all, please install VMware Virtual machine under Windows7, this is relatively simple, download the installation directly from the official website, here no longer described.

Next, download CentOS6.9 's ISO image file directly from the website, address: https://www.centos.org/download/

After the download is complete, the following is the installation process:

First step: Open VMware, click Create a new virtual machine or click File-new virtual machine;

The second step: The default selection is typical, click Next;

Step three: Click on the Installer CD image file-select the downloaded centos ISO file path, then click Install OS later, click Next.

Fourth Step: The Customer operating system select Linux, version select the corresponding version, here is the CentOS 64-bit, click Next;

The fifth step: the virtual machine name can be used by default name, choose the path of the virtual machine storage, preferably not stored in the system disk, click Next;

Sixth step: Disk size and Split file selection by default, you can also modify according to your needs, click Next;

Seventh Step: Click on custom Hardware to set up, or you can set it later.

Eighth step: Set the processor to 4 cores, you can also do not modify the new CD/DVD (IDE) connection to select the ISO image file, and select the download of the CentOS ISO image file path, click Close, then click Finish;

Nineth Step: Right click on the virtual machine CentOS 64-bit, select Power-click on the power supply to enter the firmware;

Tenth step: Use the arrow keys to switch to boot, and then use the "+" number, the CD-ROM driver moved to Zuis;

11th Step: Use the arrow keys to switch to exit, select Exit discarding changes, click Enter, select Yes, then click Enter;

12th Step: Enter the following page, select the first item, directly enter;

13th step: Select Skip, enter directly;

14th Step: Click Next to go to the next step;

15th step: Select Simplified Chinese, click Next;

The 16th step: The default selection of American English, click Next;

17th Step: The default selection of basic storage device, click Next;

18th step: Next, click "Yes, ignore all data (Y)";

The 19th step: hostname default, no need to modify, click Next;

20th step: The default time is Asia/Shanghai, click Next directly;

21st Step: Enter the 6-digit password and click Next.

22nd Step: Choose Create custom layout, click Next;

23rd Step: Click Create, to the system separate "/boot", "Home", "swap", "/" Partition;

24th step: After the partition is complete, click Next,

25th Step: Click on the Format partition and click "Write changes to disk";

The 26th step: Choose Basic Server here, you can choose other types according to your own needs, click Next;

27th Step: Wait for the installation to complete, click Reboot;

19th Step: Install successfully, boot into the following Linux boot interface, enter the localhost login:root; the password was set before: 123456; it's done.
